Both products carry the same warranty coverage terms.
The only difference is which roofs they’re designed for and warranty length.

GoNano products may still be applied to roofs outside these age ranges to extend usable life; however, warranty eligibility depends on roof condition and inspection results.

What the Warranty Covers (same for both)

What’s covered

• GoNano warrants that the applied product will protect the treated asphalt shingles when:

  • Installed by Nova Spray (Certified GoNano Contractor)

  • Applied according to GoNano specifications

  • Registered within 30 days of treatment

• Coverage applies if, during the warranty period:

  • 30% or more of treated shingles show abnormal curling, cupping, or warping, or

  • Water penetrates through the treated shingles

Plain-English clarification

This warranty applies to the treated shingles themselves - not the entire roofing system or underlying structure.

How long coverage lasts

• Coverage starts on the treatment date

• Warranty length depends on:

  • Product used

  • Roof age at time of treatment

• Coverage is prorated over time

Proration schedule

• Year 1: 100% Year 2: 90% Year 3: 80% Year 4: 70% Year 5: 60%

  Year 6: 50% Year 7: 40% Year 8: 30% Year 9: 20% Year 10: 10%

After the warranty term ends (10 or 15 years), coverage expires.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for warranty coverage:

• Roof must fall within the eligible age range:

  • Shingle Saver: 0–5 years

  • Revive: 5–20 years

• Treatment must be completed by Nova Spray

• Warranty must be registered with GoNano within 30 days

• Roof must be:

  • Structurally sound at time of treatment

  • Free from unapproved chemicals or harsh cleaners

  • Reasonably maintained (debris, drainage, ventilation)

Important: Older Roofs

What if my roof is older than 20 years?

GoNano products can still be effective on older roofs, depending on condition.

For roofs outside standard warranty age ranges:

• Treatments may still:

  • Improve water resistance

  • Slow further degradation

  • Extend usable life by several years

• However:

  • These applications may not qualify for full warranty coverage

  • Results vary based on roof condition

Nova Spray will always be upfront about expected outcomes before proceeding.

What’s Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

• Storm or disaster damage (hail, hurricanes, wind-borne debris)

• Structural defects or underlying roof failures

• Improper installation by third parties

• Damage from:

  • Solar panels or rooftop equipment installed without approval

  • Foot traffic or construction activity

  • Animals, vegetation, or falling debris

• Normal cosmetic changes such as fading or staining

How a Warranty Claim Works

If an issue arises:

1. Notify GoNano within 30 days of discovering the issue via your provided warranty documentation

2. Provide:

   • Proof of treatment

   • Photos and documentation

3. Allow inspection if requested

Nova Spray will assist you through the process - we don’t disappear after install day.

Transferability

Selling your home?

• The warranty can be transferred to a new owner

• Transfer must follow GoNano’s assignment process

• Coverage term does not reset
